Hypersurface, an on-chain execution layer for volatility strategies, has acquired Bitcoin treasury infrastructure provider Acre for an undisclosed amount. According to Foresight News, Hypersurface said the deal will combine Acre’s Bitcoin deposit and allocation technology with Hypersurface’s on-chain volatility execution engine.
The companies plan to introduce an on-chain managed Bitcoin strategy vault called HSBPI, designed for trading volatility. Hypersurface said the vault will be managed by quantitative digital asset investment firm Monarq Asset Management.
As part of a transition plan, Hypersurface said existing Acre users will have an opportunity to migrate their deposits to HSBPI while continuing to self-custody their Bitcoin.
