According to people familiar with the matter, Customers Bank will cancel the bank accounts of some crypto hedge funds, mainly for internal management and cleaning inactive accounts. The bank limits crypto customer deposits to 15% of total deposits in order to control digital asset risk.
It is reported that the bank provides services to some of the largest companies in the cryptocurrency space, such as Galaxy Digital (GLXY), Coinbase (COIN), and Circle.
