CME’s FedWatch tool indicates markets are pricing a 62.6% probability that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged in July, with a 37.4% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point hike.
According to ChainCatcher, the same tool shows that by September, the probability of rates remaining unchanged is 29.8%.
For September, FedWatch data also assigns a 50.6% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point hike and a 19.6% probability of a cumulative 50-basis-point hike.
