Oman’s Sultan Haitham met visiting Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and his accompanying delegation in Muscat on June 23.
According to Jin10, the two sides exchanged views on the latest developments in the ongoing talks between Iran and the United States, and Haitham heard an Iranian briefing on various aspects of the negotiation process.
Haitham expressed support for the current talks and wished them success. He said he hoped the Iran-U.S. negotiations would help resolve all outstanding issues through peaceful means, including restoring smooth shipping and navigation safety in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran’s nuclear issue, and other related topics.
