Norwegian authorities freeze and return $5.70 million in damages caused by Ronin hack

Sky Mavis, the development company behind Axie Infinity, said in a post that the Norwegian National Agency for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crimes (Ökokrim) successfully froze and returned $5.70 million of assets stolen in the Ronin Bridge incident. 15% of the assets will be used to cover recovery costs and expenses, and the remaining 85% will be deposited into the Axie Infinity fund. In addition, about $40 million of assets have been frozen and will take time to recover and return.
