Foresight News posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the Ethereum Foundation said it has completed a months-long restructuring and laid off 54 employees, representing about 20% of its previous workforce.
In a blog post, the foundation said its new structure includes five divisions responsible for different areas of work: the protocol layer, access layer, user layer, community layer, and institutional layer.
It also established an operations-focused cluster and another cluster made up of management and teams that directly support management work.
