The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act faces a narrowing window to clear the U.S. Senate, with several negotiations still unresolved, according to CoinDesk, as crypto lobbyists push for a July vote. The toughest talks center on an ethics provision limiting senior officials’ crypto-industry ties, highlighted by President Donald Trump’s interests, with Senate Democrats Ruben Gallego and Kirsten Gillibrand in discussions with Republicans and the White House. Other sticking points include DeFi developer liability protections in the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act (BRCA), Senate Agriculture Democrats’ concerns, and a dispute over stablecoin yield opposed by JPMorgan Chase & Co. CEO Jamie Dimon.
