Global mergers and acquisitions are on track to reach $4 trillion in 2026, the strongest year since 2021, driven by multibillion-dollar AI-linked megadeals, according to BeInCrypto, citing PwC. PwC forecasts deal value up about 13% from 2025, but volumes down 13% to roughly 42,000 deals, with transactions above $5 billion making up 48% of value.
