Revolut Plans to Apply for South African Banking License in September, Targets 2028 Service Launch

Revolut plans to submit an application for a banking license in September and launch services in South Africa in 2028. According to Foresight News, the plan was reported by Tech in Asia.

Revolut said that after receiving regulatory approval, it will introduce products for local users, including accounts with no fees. The company added that more than 100,000 people have already registered on its waiting list.
