India’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) has asked three major cryptocurrency exchanges to submit information on over-the-counter (OTC) transactions exceeding $10,000, with a focus on identifying the beneficial owners behind trades involving private companies and intermediary entities.
According to Foresight News, the request was reported by Cryptopolitan.
The FIU instructed that relevant transaction records be traced and retained through January 2026.
