Tan said ByteDance’s newly launched Doubao 2.1 Pro has “officially crossed” a qualitative threshold for production-grade productivity, and that multiple evaluations show it consistently outperforming Anthropic’s benchmark model, with some metrics on par with higher-end overseas versions.
