Interactive Brokers said it has expanded its agentic trading features by adding connections to ChatGPT and Grok, alongside its existing integration with Claude. According to ChainCatcher, clients can link these AI tools to their existing accounts and use natural-language prompts for portfolio exploration, market analysis, and generating trade instructions.
The broker also expanded the range of assets supported for AI-generated trade instructions beyond stocks and ETFs to include options, futures, and futures options.
Interactive Brokers said it does not share passwords or API keys with AI providers. It added that any AI-generated trade instructions must be reviewed and approved by the user on a dedicated “AI Instructions” page before being submitted to the market.
