China cut off exports of Chinese-origin dual-use goods to 10 U.S. defense and rare earth companies on June 22, escalating a tit-for-tat dispute over military-linked firm designations. The move followed the Pentagon’s expansion of its 1260H watch list to include Alibaba and Baidu, according to BeInCrypto, and Beijing also barred third-country transfers of such goods to the firms.
The targeted companies include AVEOX, Red Cat Holdings, Teal Drones, IMSAR, Jaia Robotics, Ball Aerospace, Oshkosh Defense, L3Harris Maritime Services, MP Materials, and USA Rare Earth; waivers may be granted only for goods deemed “genuinely necessary.”
