Barcelona forward Raphinha is determined to play again at the World Cup after suffering a muscle injury for Brazil in a win over Haiti. Medical exams confirmed a tear in the back of his right thigh, ruling him out of Brazil’s final group match against Scotland and also their first knockout match if they advance, with a recovery expected to take at least two weeks, according to Yahoo Sports.

Raphinha has begun physiotherapy and is working separately with Brazil’s rehabilitation staff, with a potential target date of July 5 for a possible Round of 16 return, while July 11 quarter-finals could provide additional time if needed.
