Iran’s finance minister, Madanizadeh, said on the 22nd local time that the Iranian central bank has begun taking necessary measures to promote the unfreezing of Iran’s frozen assets, though specific details and amounts remain unclear.

According to Odaily, Iranian Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati said the latest round of talks in Switzerland was “compact and difficult,” but that the outcome generally progressed in line with the goals set by the Iranian delegation.

Hemmati said he was pleased to see significant progress on the issue of Iran’s frozen assets. He added that in the coming days, under decisions and instructions from the Iranian central bank, the funds would be activated gradually and in phases.
