Microsoft confirmed in an update to its admin center that the Microsoft 365 Copilot app will be automatically installed on eligible Windows PCs that already have Microsoft 365 desktop applications installed, according to 36Kr. Some users said the Copilot component has been reappearing in their Office suites even when they do not actively use it. Microsoft said organizations that do not want the Microsoft 365 Copilot app to automatically appear on devices will need to opt out via administrative settings.
