JPMorgan forecast in a research note that Zhipu will release its next-generation flagship model, GLM-5.5, in August, with parameter counts potentially exceeding 1 trillion.
According to ChainCatcher, Zhipu open-sourced the GLM-5.2 model in mid-June with total parameters of 744 billion.
The report said the upcoming trillion-parameter model release will be a key indicator for assessing whether Zhipu can continue advancing its technical trajectory, noting GLM-5.2 has performed strongly across multiple long-horizon programming benchmarks.
