The Bank of England has dropped previously considered limits on stablecoin holdings and set an initial issuance cap of £40 billion for each stablecoin.
According to NS3.AI, the £40 billion cap is worth $54 billion.
The Bank of England also reportedly eased some reserve asset requirements following feedback from the industry.
