A well-known Ethereum MEV bot operator, ae13, posted an on-chain white hat bounty message offering a 50% reward if 2,150 ETH is returned to a specified address within 48 hours, and said legal and law enforcement measures would be pursued otherwise.
According to Odaily, the MEV bot Jaredfromsubway.eth, associated with ae13 and long active on the Ethereum network, was attacked after a hacker exploited a vulnerability in its automated execution system.
Odaily reported the incident resulted in losses of more than $7.5 million.
