Samsung Electronics said it will roll out ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to all employees in South Korea and to staff in its global Device Experience (DX) division, marking one of OpenAI’s largest enterprise deployments to date. According to ChainCatcher, the company plans to use the AI tools across core functions including software development, product research and development, marketing, and manufacturing.
Samsung said the deployment will cover both technical and non-technical roles, aiming to improve productivity and support employees in solving complex problems.
The move also signals an expansion of Samsung’s relationship with OpenAI from earlier cooperation focused on AI infrastructure—such as supplying advanced memory semiconductors—to broader, companywide use of AI tools in office and business workflows.
