A group of 108 former federal prosecutors and agents signed an open letter to U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken urging the State Department to step up efforts to secure the release of Binance compliance chief Tigran Gambaryan from a Nigerian prison, Axios reported late Thursday.
The letter was reportedly led by Katie Haun, an investor and Coinbase board member and former federal prosecutor, who called the minimal government intervention on Gambaryan's behalf completely ineffective and stressed that the consequences could be dire if continued inaction is not taken.
