Celestia supports the deployment of the Arbitrum Orbit chain on the mainnet, allowing developers to use Celestia's data availability for their customized L2 or L3 chains. The integration is powered by Blobstream, a one-way data validation bridge that streams data from the Celestia data availability layer to the Arbitrum Orbit chain.
Blobstream allows Celestia's data roots to be validated via an on-chain light client side on Ethereum L1, enabling the chain to access the blockchain space independent of its underlying gas fee pricing on the underlying chain. Additionally, the integration has an Ethereum fallback feature that allows rollups to rely on Ethereum's data availability.
