The crypto derivatives market recorded $180 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, according to Coinglass data. According to ChainCatcher, $105 million came from liquidated long positions and $74.89 million from liquidated short positions.
Bitcoin liquidations totaled $40.43 million, including $19.63 million in longs and $20.79 million in shorts. Ethereum liquidations totaled $39.58 million, including $17.08 million in longs and $22.50 million in shorts.
Coinglass data also showed 78,163 traders were liquidated globally during the same 24-hour period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Aster’s ETHUSDT contract, valued at $10.49 million.
