AI | UnitedHealth’s $3 Billion AI Push Has Bots Calling Doctors

UnitedHealth Group Inc. is spending $3 billion on artificial intelligence, including trials in which AI agents call doctors’ offices to schedule patient appointments. According to Bloomberg, the company is also using AI to read aloud summaries of medical charts for nurses driving to patients’ homes and to analyze millions of customer calls to identify the causes of complaints.
