Oman has officially launched a national-level Bitcoin mining pool and has required all licensed cryptocurrency miners operating domestically to connect to the unified pool.
According to Odaily, the project is led by Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.
The plan sets an initial target hashrate for the pool of about 10 EH/s.
