South Korea’s Kospi ended a six-day winning streak, falling 0.13% to close at 9,052 after setting a record close on Thursday. According to Ming Pao, the index briefly rose to an intraday high of 9,385 on Friday before reversing late in the session, at one point dropping below 9,000 to a low of 8,831, amid reports of Israeli attacks on Lebanon that raised uncertainty over whether a U.S.-Iran agreement can be effectively implemented.
