BlackRock executive Jay Jacobs said around three-quarters of investors in the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) had never owned an exchange-traded fund before.
According to NS3.AI, Jacobs said IBIT has attracted traditional investors into digital assets while also encouraging digital asset investors to use exchange-traded products (ETPs).
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust has $48 billion in assets under management.
