Anthropic executives pledged to work more closely with the White House and address security concerns that led to restrictions on the company’s “Mythos” and “Fable” models, The Washington Post reported.
According to Jin10, people familiar with the matter said on Thursday that, during ongoing remediation talks, Anthropic committed to improving communication with the Trump administration and to resolving any security issues more quickly in the future.
The sources said negotiations between Anthropic and Trump administration officials were progressing smoothly, though there was no specific timetable for a full resolution.
Another person familiar with the discussions said that as of Thursday, Anthropic co-founder and chief computing officer Tom Brown and public policy head Sarah Heck were leading the talks with Trump administration officials.
Representatives for Anthropic and the U.S. Department of Commerce did not respond to requests for comment.
