Lanqi Technology said it has recently shipped samples of its DDR5 sixth-generation RCD chip to customers. According to Odaily, the chip supports data transfer rates of up to 9,200 MT/s, representing a 15% increase compared with the previous generation, and is intended to meet next-generation server platforms’ high-bandwidth requirements.
The company also said it is the lead drafter of the international standard for DDR5 RCD chips.
