The Iran war has not had a “severe” impact on the machine tool industry, Stephan Mayer, CEO for Machine Tools at German manufacturing technology firm Trumpf, said. Instead, tariffs have been the bigger headwind for the industry, according to Bloomberg, citing Mayer’s comments on “The Pulse with Francine Lacqua” on Bloomberg TV.
