Unstoppable Domains Apply for ".blockchain" Domain Registration with ICANN

Unstoppable Domains and Blockchain.com to launch a ".blockchain" Domain Name System (DNS), and the two companies have joined forces to register ".blockchain" Web3 domains with ICANN, the global body for IP addresses and domain names. It is reported that ICANN will implement the new generic top-level domain (gTLD) by the second quarter of 2026, so Unstoppable Domains and Blockchain.com have one year to prepare for new domain applications.
