Aberdeen Deputy Chief Economist Luke Bartholomew said the Bank of England may be able to avoid the kind of monetary tightening that the European Central Bank has already begun and that the Federal Reserve suggested it might pursue.
According to Jin10, Bartholomew said that two committee members voting in favor of an interest-rate increase indicated some policymakers remained concerned about potential inflation pressures.
