A key international nuclear lab helping eradicate the New World screwworm said more sterile flies and stronger coordination with southern neighbors are needed to stop the deadly parasite from spreading across North America. In its assessment, according to Bloomberg, the International Atomic Energy Agency said increased fly production and cross-border collaboration are required to contain the pest.
