China A-shares traded mixed in the morning session, with the Shanghai Composite closing at 4,092, down 0.37%. The Shenzhen Component ended at 15,970, up 0.57%, according to Ming Pao, while the ChiNext Index rose 1.39% to 4,224 after climbing more than 2% earlier to set another record high.
Turnover for the half-day session totaled RMB 2.15 trillion.
