South Korea’s Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) issued a warning on single-stock leveraged and inverse products, urging retail investors to pay attention to related risks amid heightened stock market volatility.
According to Odaily, the FSS said recent increases in market volatility have led to sharp price swings in these products. The regulator said the warning is intended to remind individual investors of potential loss risks and to encourage prudent investment decisions.
The FSS said it will continue to closely monitor investment trends in single-stock leveraged products. If concerns about potential investor losses intensify, it said it will take additional steps, including issuing more warnings.
