Iran said that an AI tool known as Claude, typically used to answer user questions, was repurposed during military operations against Iran to identify and prioritize military targets, Iranian media reported.
According to Jin10, Iran’s Fars News Agency reported that the system analyzed large volumes of satellite imagery, location data, and communications signals, enabling U.S. and Israeli personnel to select targets in under one second and receive weapon recommendations for each target.
The report said the system relied on extensive cloud infrastructure provided by Amazon and Microsoft.
The Iranian account added that events in Tehran, Gaza, and Lebanon exposed what it described as the true nature of major technology companies and their close ties with the United States and Israel.
