AI | AMI Labs CEO Says Europe Lags in LLMs but Could Lead in World Models

Europe has fallen behind on text-based AI, known as LLMs, AMI Labs CEO Alex LeBrun said at Vivatech 2026 in Paris. According to Bloomberg, LeBrun said Europe could still pull ahead in “world models,” an evolution in AI that moves away from text-based models toward spatial and physical intelligence.
