Revolut has received a license approved by the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates, allowing it to formally enter the United Arab Emirates market and use it as a starting point to expand its business in the Middle East.
According to Odaily, the approved license includes authorization related to stored value facilities and retail payment services.
Revolut said it will prioritize building local technical systems, establishing an operating structure, and deploying compliance capabilities before its official launch.
