Bitcoin climbed above $67,000 after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a late Sunday ceasefire deal with Iran. According to NS3.AI, derivatives indicators pointed to cautious positioning despite the price move.
Bitcoin’s two-month futures basis was 2% on Monday, while Bitcoin put options traded at a 16% premium over calls. In U.S. spot markets, U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $86 million in net inflows on Friday, though cumulative flows have remained negative, with net outflows totaling $730 million since June 5.
The report said the ceasefire agreement did not include a final deadline and lacked clear operational details for shipping companies. It added that an interim agreement is expected this Friday.
