Benfica Blocks Tim Leiweke From Buying Stake Over Other European Team Investments

Benfica has told US investor Tim Leiweke it can’t allow him to acquire a stake in the Portuguese club because of his investments in other European teams. In the decision, according to Bloomberg, Benfica cited concerns tied to Leiweke’s existing holdings in other clubs, people familiar with the matter said.
