A Polymarket bettor described as “smart money” bought more than $170,000 worth of shares predicting France will not defeat Senegal in a “2026 World Cup group stage Group I, Round 1” market, with an average entry price of $0.33.

According to Odaily, the address 0xf0318c32136c2db7fec88b84869aee6a1106c80c has recorded profits of more than $1.24 million.

The report said France has been widely favored due to squad depth and recent form, citing prior wins over Brazil and Colombia. It also noted France’s attacking players Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, and Michael Olise, and said defender William Saliba has been confirmed available to play.

Senegal has gained market recognition based on competitiveness built in Africa Cup of Nations matches and the return of Sadio Mane, the report added.
