Baidu said its autonomous ride-hailing platform Apollo Go is accelerating its European expansion after its AmiGo mobility service, launched with Swiss Post-owned public transport operator PostBus, received a special permit for Level 4 public road testing in eastern Switzerland.
The permit was granted by the Swiss Federal Roads Office (FEDRO), according to Ming Pao, allowing AmiGo to conduct L4 tests on open roads in the region.
