Humanity announced a recovery plan following a hacking incident, including replacing its H token and restarting its mainnet in the coming weeks. According to Foresight News, the original H tokens on Ethereum, BNB Chain, and the Humanity mainnet have been halted from circulation, and a new H token will be airdropped to all existing holders across the three networks.
The snapshot timestamp was set for June 9, 2026, 1:25:35 AM (UTC+8).
Humanity said it will relaunch the Humanity mainnet in the next few weeks and use the new H as the network’s native gas token.
The project also introduced a compensation fund to address complex cases involving certain third-party protocol integrations or decentralized liquidity providers. It said the fund will also cover eligible users who bought H tokens after the snapshot and still hold the token.
