Most investors expect the Democratic Party to win control of the U.S. House of Representatives while the Republican Party retains control of the Senate in the upcoming U.S. midterm elections, according to Bank of America’s June global fund manager survey.
According to Jin10, 42% of respondents expected this divided outcome. Republicans currently hold majorities in both the House and the Senate.
The survey also found that expectations for a “blue wave,” meaning Democrats controlling both the House and the Senate, fell to 22% from 36% two months earlier.
