日本商船三井（MOL）首席执行官田村丈太郎（Jotaro Tamura）表示，船东可能需要数周、甚至长达一个月，才会再次感到可以安全使用霍尔木兹海峡。
据 NS3 报道，该海峡在2月下旬冲突爆发前承载了全球超过五分之一的石油和液化天然气运输。
报道提到，协议达成后已有部分船只通行，包括印度籍液化天然气运输船“Disha”，其载有62370吨天然气。
