A Reuters poll found that most economists expected the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to raise its benchmark interest rate on June 18 by 25 basis points to 4.75%.
According to Jin10, the Reuters survey showed that 20 of 25 economists expected a 25-basis-point increase, while five economists expected a larger 50-basis-point hike.
