The online media channel Gaza Now, which supports Hamas, has been jointly sanctioned by the United States and the United Kingdom for facilitating public fundraising for Hamas after the Israeli attack on October 7th. Blockchain analysis firm Elliptics found that Gaza Now received $21000 in cryptocurrency donations within weeks of the attack. According to a new report from TRM Labs, cryptocurrency donations still only account for a small portion of the entire terrorist financing landscape, with most donations below $500.
