行业称，2018 年通过的《金融科技法》已难以适应创新，导致审批流程出现瓶颈，诉求包括加快授权流程、实施分级风险管理、引入有条件授权，并规范开放金融模式。
在加密资产方面，墨西哥金融当局仍保持限制；行业希望建立更明确的监管规则，并推动允许同一平台整合支付、信贷和保险等服务。专家称，墨西哥约 85% 的交易仍以现金进行，部分人口未被传统金融体系覆盖。
