Sui processed nearly $65 billion in stablecoin transfers over five days after a protocol update made those transfers free. According to NS3.AI, Mysten Labs implemented the change on May 20, removing the requirement for users to hold SUI in order to move funds.
DefiLlama data shows Sui’s stablecoin supply at about $470 million, placing it outside the 15 largest chains by stablecoin market capitalization.
