The UK’s FTSE 100 closed down 39.98 points, or 0.38%, at 10,431.74.
France’s CAC 40 finished higher by 33.14 points, or 0.40%, at 8,384.01.
The Euro Stoxx 50 rose 41.72 points, or 0.67%, to 6,229.35.
Spain’s IBEX 35 gained 271.38 points, or 1.45%, to 19,035.78.
Italy’s FTSE MIB advanced 342.29 points, or 0.66%, to 51,839.50.
